Investment casting from Soest
Founded in 1980 as CERCAST, the production of aluminum investment castings started in Soest in the same year.
In 1987, the company was sold to the Thyssen Guss AG, under whose responsibility the installation and start of the SOPHIA® process began in 1994.
This made the site as one of the few investment casting foundries in the world capable of producing high-strength aluminum investment castings for the aerospace industry.
In 2006, ZOLLERN took over the business and further expanded the sales market in 2011 by taking over Eurocast/NL.
Today, the site sees itself as a preferred supplier of sophisticated structural and engine components for the leading aircraft and engine manufacturers, and their suppliers.
